These sheets were sold in the gift shop and were a step above the "Hotel Line" that were used in some of the high-end suites in the hotel.
(The hotel didn't exclusively use Frette's hotel linens which traditionally have matching or contrasting piping on the sheets and pillowcases.  They used some other brands as well.)

The label on the sheet says: FRETTE EXPRESSLY MADE FOR The Plaza

The other side of the label says: MADE IN ITALY 100% COTTON

(International washing instruction symbols are on this line.)

The sheets are white with no logo or other design.

The sheet is 270cm x 290 cm (106 inches by 114 inches) a generous Frette-style king size sheet...in fact, it is big enough for a California King!  (note: California king sheets are usually 102" x 110" -  if you're unsure please measure your own bed or sheets before ordering.)

Frette bedside mat from the now-closed Plaza Hotel, New York.  Placing a mat beside a bed is a small detail that adds a touch of elegance so often lost in today's hectic world. 

These "mats" would make wonderful small tablecloths or bathmats or even tea towels.  (Think how elegant it would be to use these to dry your dishes!!)  Why not lay one on a vanity top to protect the surface and add a touch of Plaza luxury!

In fact at the recent Plaza sale many people thought these were tablecloths or bath mats...but no...I can assure you that if you check in to The Peninsula, Hong Kong or The Four Seasons, Istanbul or any other number of  luxury hotels around the globe you will find one of these little cotton mats and a pair of slipper beside your bed.

As you step out of bed your feet hit the clean mat giving you an opportunity to slide into your slippers and hence avoiding ever having to step directly onto the floor. Isn't that the ultimate in luxury?

A luxurious, vintage, velour bathrobe from the now-closed Plaza Hotel, New York.  The robe is from the Mascioni Hotel Collection and is in XL size only (or because they only came in one size...this is a "one size fits most"!!). 

This kimono-style robe is made of white terry velour (420 GR) 100% cotton.  It is made in Turkey and has the famous double P logo as well as "The Plaza" embroidered on it in blue.

It is made from heavy terrytowel and there are two patch pockets at the front and a wrap belt.

This vintage robe was used in a guest room and is still in great condition!!

I think that The Plaza robe may be the quintessential Plaza collectibe.  These spa-style robes are incredibly luxurious and they're definitely a "must-have" for the fall season.

Monogrammed Frette Napkins

Plaza Hotel Monogrammed Frette Napkins

People say that The Plaza Hotel didn't have an address -- it didn't need one. Although a letter sent to "The Plaza Hotel, New York" would probably have reached its recipient, the official address was, in fact, 1 Central Park South, or as many would say ONE C.P.S.

These monogrammed napkins were unused old stock left over when the hotel closed. They were to be used in the famous steak house "ONE C.P.S." which was located right on the corner of Fifth Avenue overlooking Central Park. (This space was formerly the Edwardian Room)

These luxurious napkins, made by the prestigious Italian linen company, Frette, are 100% double twisted Egyptian cotton damask mercerized with the "Polaris" system. Two sides are selvedges and two are straight hems. "Frette" logo woven on the border design in damask. They are designed to measure the full 22 x 22 inches after shrinkage.

Sold in sets of four. They are an elegant addition to any dining experience.
